These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the Telic app (hereby referred to as "Application") for all supported platforms that was created by Petr Bína doing business as Telic (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). Accepting these Terms

Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application. If you don't agree to all of the terms below, please do not use the Application.

Connecting Third-Party Services

The Application allows you to connect to third-party services (such as Google Drive for backup). By connecting these services, you grant the Application permission to access the requested data/files on your behalf.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. Below are the links to the Terms and Conditions of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

Your use of such third party applications, websites, and services is governed by that party's own terms of service or privacy policies.

Data Storage and Backup

The Application stores and processes data locally to provide the Service. Your data is stored as follows:

  • Local Storage & Security: Your productivity data is stored locally within the Application's private storage sandbox (Mobile/Desktop) or your browser's secure database (Web). We rely on your device's native security measures—such as filesystem encryption, sandboxing, and your device passcode—to protect this data at rest.
  • Backup and Sync: When you sync your data, backups are replaced with the latest version from your device. Only the current state of your data is maintained.
  • Google Drive Integration: You may optionally sync your productivity data to your personal Google Drive account at your discretion. This data is stored in YOUR Google Drive account, not on the Service Provider's servers.

It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device (phone, tablet, or computer) and access to the Application.

User Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Application in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, negatively affect or inhibit other users from fully enjoying the Application;
  • Impersonate or post on behalf of any person or entity;
  • Use the Application for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security measures designed to protect the Application.

Updates and Termination

The Service Provider may wish to update the application at some point. The Service Provider does not guarantee that it will always update the application so that it is relevant to you and/or compatible with the particular operating system version installed on your device. However, you agree to always accept updates to the application when offered to you.

Intellectual Property Rights

Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Application and any other service and content included on or otherwise made available to you through the Application are provided to you on an "as is" or "as available" basis without any representations or warranties of any kind. We disclaim any and all warranties and representations (express or implied) with respect to the Application.

In no event will Petr Bína be liable to you or any third party for any special, indirect, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Application or any other service and/or content included on or otherwise made available to you through the Application.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all costs, damages, liabilities, and expenses we incur in relation to, arising from, or for the purpose of avoiding, any claim or demand from a third party relating to your use of the Application.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

The validity of these Terms and the rights, obligations, and relations of the parties under these Terms will be construed and determined under and in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. You expressly agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute with the Application resides in the courts of the Czech Republic.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Petr Bína regarding the use of the Application, superseding any prior agreements between you and Petr Bína relating to your use of the Application.
